Long Board Loft

I was hoping to find a really special place to be our home away from home for a couple days. I loved this place because it has a garage and being on the second floor, you really feel a sense of privacy. Everything was super clean and cozy and the kitchen is huge and stocked with anything you might need to cook. The washer dryer was nice to be able to go home with all our clothes clean and of course being so close to the beach was the main attraction. We ended up spending a lot of time at McPhillips Beach (maybe a 2 minute drive) because you can drive your vehicle right onto the beach. I have trouble walking on the beach so it was nice to be able to just sit in the back of our Subaru while my wife and sons played in the sand. The only minor issues I would mention is that while it is technically 5 minutes from the beach, you have to walk down a pretty narrow and busy road to get there and if you have young kids like us, you may end up deciding to just drive. Also, while our 2019 Subaru Outback did fit into the garage, it’s a pretty steep driveway (you definitely need a solid handbrake) and the clearance between the rear view mirrors and the garage opening was maybe 6 inches in either side. There is also a small space outside the garage but it’s still pretty tight and steep. Food wise, we’ve been out to this area many times and we love Taste of India 3 in Lincoln City. Taken all together, I’d still say this place is worthy of five stars. We hope to come back again.

Clean, comfortable, 5 min walk to the beach! The boys, our lab and I had a great time staying at Longboard in PC during Spring Break!
